Recipes   CHEESEY PUDDING
(Serves 4)
 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of lactose free butter or margarine
  • 2 medium onions – peeled and thinly sliced
  • 100g fresh white or wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 100g mature Cheddar cheese – grated
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 3 large free range eggs – beaten
  • 600ml KARA Dairy Free Milk

Method:

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Melt the butter/margarine and add the onions. Cook until soft.
  3. Add KARA Dairy Free Milk and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add breadcrumbs, stirring well.
  5. Fold in the cheese, seasoning and beaten eggs.
  6. Pour into a well greased baking dish.
  7. Bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden and well risen.
  8. Serve with salad.
