Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of lactose free butter or margarine
- 2 medium onions – peeled and thinly sliced
- 100g fresh white or wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 100g mature Cheddar cheese – grated
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
- 3 large free range eggs – beaten
- 600ml KARA Dairy Free Milk
Method:
- Heat the oven to 200°C.
- Melt the butter/margarine and add the onions. Cook until soft.
- Add KARA Dairy Free Milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add breadcrumbs, stirring well.
- Fold in the cheese, seasoning and beaten eggs.
- Pour into a well greased baking dish.
- Bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden and well risen.
- Serve with salad.
